GRIZZLY ADVENTURE CAMP

When: July 12-16 or July 19-23 (two sessions)
Where: Camp Grizzly Cub World, Beaumont Scout Reservation

An action-packed program for Cub Scouts and Webelos Scouts using the facilities of Cub World to explore a theme-based program.  Cubs attend as individuals under the guidance of a paid staff.  Although adult leadership will be addressed through the paid staff, parents are encouraged to participate with their sons for one day or the entire week.  This is an opportunity to meet and interact with Cubs from all over the council.

The Archery and BB Gun Shooting Sports belt loop may be earned at Grizzly Adventure Camp this year.

Where: Cub World at Beaumont Scout Reservation.  Take Interstate 44 west past Highway 141 to the Antire/Beaumont Exit (No. 269).

Activities take place in or around the program areas of Cub World.  Whether it is in the pirate ship, the castle, Fort Hussmann, or the Lost Beaumont Mine, your Cub will have a memorable trip to camp.

What: Encouraged for all Cub Scouts and Webelos Scouts.

Learn about nature, play games and sports, build crafts, swim two or three days in the Beaumont pool, and participate in a week of excitement. More information will be available to registered Cubs closer to the start of camp.

How To Attend: Cubs attend Grizzly Adventure Camp as individuals or under home pack leadership.  Additional adults are needed to serve as walk-around leaders to supplement the staff conducting the program.  Contact the Activities Service at the Scout Service Center or download an application.

Cost:  The camp fee is $80 and includes a Grizzly Adventure Camp t-shirt, an emblem, the week's camp program, and a hot lunch each day.

Attendance is limited to 180 Cubs each week.
